Terms & Conditions

1. Once a quote form has been submitted, Kemp Guitars will compile a quote based on your chosen specification. Every quote is compiled on an individual basis, this ensures that your guitar is priced up accurately.

2. Quotes are valid for a period of 30 days. Kemp Guitars reserves the right to make changes to the price quoted if you place an order from a quote that has exceeded its 30 day validity period.

3. When placing an order, you will be required to make your first payment before work begins on your guitar.

4. Payments become non-refundable once work begins on your guitar or parts and materials have been purchased. If you decide to cancel your order, and neither work started or materials ordered for the guitar, you will be refunded all monies paid less any expenses that have been incurred.

5. Making your first payment confirms that you agree and accept these terms and conditions ("the contract") and the specification and price detailed within your quote.

6. Once an order has been placed, any changes to your guitar's specification is at the sole discretion of Kemp Guitars.

7. Kemp Guitars accepts payment by debit and credit card, Faster Payments (UK Bank Transfer), International Bank Transfer, Crypto Currency and PayPal.

8. Build times are not guaranteed and Kemp Guitars accepts no liability for any delays in completing your guitar.

9. Late payments exceeding thirty (30) days overdue will result in the termination of your contract with us, and Kemp Guitars will assume ownership of the guitar (including all parts and materials purchased for that guitar) to be sold on to recoup costs incurred.

10. Suitable hard case and delivery charges are included in the price we quote for building your guitar and can vary based on the weight and size of your instrument, your location and the type of delivery service used.

11. International orders may be subject to customs processing, which can include delays from customs inspections and import charges/taxes which you must pay. Kemp Guitars is unable to determine any import charges/taxes that you may have to pay, nor are we responsible or liable for any of these charges, so we recommend that you consult your local customs office if you have any concerns about this matter.

12. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on any "made to order" guitars unless they are faulty.

13. If at any time after placing an order, parts requested (including but not limited to; wood, hardware and finishes) are no longer available due to discontinuation, CITES restrictions or other reasons beyond our control, we will endeavour to find alternative parts that fit within your original specification and budget as closely as possible. Kemp Guitars will not cancel or refund an order due to discontinued or unavailable parts.

14. All custom made guitars include a warranty. Conditions of our warranty are available on the website.

15. Kemp Guitars only holds information about you that is relevant to your order - including your name, address, phone number and email address. We will never sell, share or distribute any of your personal information to any third parties.
